At Progressive Benefit Solutions, we believe that decisions on benefits, just like on business, should be based on facts and supported by detailed analysis. We utilize our expertise and in-house actuarial staff to use your data and that of the marketplace to assess your benefit programs and their impact.

We believe that benefit programs need a multi-year strategic plan created after incorporating our actuarial analysis, competitive benchmark data, budget constraints, the employer’s demographics and current plan designs. This strong strategic planning approach means we are meeting on a regular basis to review what has occurred, how things are running, and developing a multi-year road map on where the benefit programs are heading.
We believe that benefit brokers and insurance agencies should be trusted advisors, and as such, act as a consultant helping their clients focus on getting the best overall value and not just the best price. To provide this level of guidance, we ensure our firm is a recognized expert in all employee benefit products and programs, be it Consumer Directed Approaches, including Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs), or Wellness Programs. In addition, we are one of the few firms with expertise in Life and Disability contracts and Worksite Benefits.
By referencing the strategic plan and utilizing our custom employee communication tools, PBS provides high-end education to employees on their benefits. This includes understanding their value, recognizing the employer’s role in providing this value, and how to access and utilize them.
We also believe in leveraging technology and provide two customized website portals for our clients. One is an administrator’s portal which encompasses legislative updates, benchmarking data, and other articles on benefits. The other is an employee portal which houses all items related to benefits including contracts and forms. Both of these websites are password protected and allow employees access to information regarding their benefits 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Finally, we believe it is critical that the supplemental products offered to employees have the same level of scrutiny as those core benefits paid for by the employer and truly supplement or complement the current benefit offerings. It is imperative that supplemental products give employees access to benefits that add value and do so at the best contract terms and prices.
